A Fast Stress Reduction Technique

STRESS. We all experience it.

Stress can be a big issue for those in real estate. We work in a very competitive and fast-moving industry, fraught with uncertainty. Too much stress can lower your productivity and effectiveness, not to mention rob you of the everyday enjoyment of your career.

If you’ve been feeling a little stressed lately, here’s a simple technique that can help:

     1. Write down what you’re concerned about.
    • (As soon as you do that, the impact will decrease.)

     2. Write down what you plan to do about it.

     3. Immediately take some steps, however small, towards implementing that plan.

As deceptively simple as that strategy may be, it can be very effective. So, the next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, worried, or anxious — all indicators of stress — try this 1-2-3 approach.

See how it works for you.
